Cars from the Fast and Furious franchise will soon be displayed at Los Angeles’ Petersen Automotive Museum, Diesel and Meadow noted

Vin Diesel has much to celebrate with his The Fast and the Furious family.

The actor-producer, 58, marked 25 years of the action franchise with a sweet Instagram post on Monday, March 2. The video showed him enjoying “Sunday family dinner,” as he captioned it, with Meadow Walker, daughter of his late costar Paul Walker.

“Obviously we always share old stories, nostalgic stories, especially since it's the 25th anniversary,” said Diesel of the reunion with Meadow, 27, who appeared with Diesel in 2023's Fast X. The original film premiered in June 2001.

“But Meadow and I were incredibly excited for some reason about the fact that our cars from Fast and Furious are going to be — featured? Premiered? Shown?” he continued.

“Yeah, on display? I don’t know,” quipped Meadow. “At the Petersen car museum,” finished Diesel.

The Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is indeed featuring a new exhibit of cars from the 11-film Fast and Furious franchise, starting March 14. “This exhibition, marking the 25th anniversary of the first film, highlights the nitrous-injected world of Fast & Furious with a selection of screen-used vehicles and production prototypes that represent the series’s most iconic builds and the franchise that celebrates a legacy of living ‘a quarter mile at a time,’” per the museum’s website.

“Something that warmed my heart was when Meadow talked to the whole family about how excited she was that her Paul Walker Foundation merchandise will be available at the museum,” added Diesel in his Instagram video. “And when are we cutting the ribbon?”

“On the 12th” of March, answered Meadow with a smile. Since Paul’s death at the age of 40 in 2013, his only child founded and has served as the chairman of the foundation, which supports educational initiatives around ocean conservation and wildlife protection.

Meadow last publicly reunited with Diesel at premieres for Fast X in 2023. In December, she honored her father with a series of childhood photos on Instagram, marking the 12th anniversary since his death.

Diesel is expected to reprise his role as Dominic Toretto in 2028's Fast Forever, costarring franchise regulars Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Momoa and more.
