The Vikings' offensive struggles reached historic depths on Sunday.
The Minnesota Vikings have yet to lose this season, but their offense hasn't been operating near the level of their elite defense or special teams. Five Will Reichard field goals lifted the Vikings to a 15-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, the second time Minnesota has failed to score a touchdown this season.
It's been a long time since a team has gotten off to a 4-0 start without the offense scoring a touchdown in multiple games. Per ESPN Research, the Vikings are the first team to start a season 4-0 without scoring a touchdown in multiple games in over 100 years.
The other teams to do that? The 1922 and 1923 Chicago Cardinals.

Minnesota's offense has a chance to get on track this weekend when they face the New Orleans Saints. No one has allowed more points in four weeks than the Saints, and the Vikings may also get Justin Jefferson back.
If they don't, lots of questions will head into the team's bye week, which could lead to changes across the offense.
