The tennis star said her dog "goes everywhere we go"
Venus tied the knot with husband Andrea Preti in Ischia, Italy, in September 2025, followed by a second wedding in Palm Beach, Fla., in December
Venus Williams had the two most important guys in her life by her side at the altar on her wedding day.
On Sunday, Jan. 11, the tennis star, 45, shared new photos on Instagram of her nuptials to husband Andrea Preti — including a glimpse of her beloved senior dog Harry's place of honor during their ceremony. The photos show the 18-year-old Havanese — who appeared to be wearing a tiny suit for the occasion — lounging on a dog bed by a large blue floral arch at the altar.

In one image, Venus and Preti, 37, shared a kiss as Harry rested in the background.
"Can you spot our dog?" Venus wrote in the caption of the post. "(he goes everywhere we go, he’s 18!) 🐶."

Back in 2023, the athlete opened up to PEOPLE about her special bond with Harry.
"My dog is my life. He is the focus of my life. I love the little guy," she said at the time, describing herself as "a passionate pet owner."

Venus also shared that she hadn't planned on getting a dog — but once Harry came into her life, the two quickly became an inseparable duo, going everywhere together, from the gym and the office to trips around the world.

"I just saw this dog one day, and I called my sister and said, 'What should I do? I like this dog,' " she recalled, referring to sister Serena Williams. "And she said, 'Get him. I love him already.' And so it was the best decision and best advice I ever got."
Naturally, Harry had a front-row seat at Venus' wedding. The seven-time Grand Slam singles champion said "I do" to Preti, an actor, producer and model, not once but twice. The couple held their first wedding in Ischia, Italy, on Sept. 18, 2025, followed by a second ceremony in December in Palm Beach, Fla.
“We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding," Venus told Vogue.

The couple first met in 2024 at the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week. They got engaged on Jan. 31, 2025, in Tuscany.
Preti popped the question over dinner after a day spent at "a wonderful place with thermal waters," where they enjoyed couples massages and swam, they told Vogue.
"He said, ‘Do you want to marry me?’ And I couldn’t stop jumping up and down and laughing and smiling because that’s what I do when I win big matches," Venus recalled of the special moment. "I was thinking to myself, Yes, yes, yes!”
