Sunday Rose Kidman Urban told Elle Australia in a cover story that her mom, Nicole Kidman, is her “biggest inspiration in life”
The 17-year-old revealed the “biggest piece of industry advice” her mom gave her as she explores a future in filmmaking

Sunday Rose has her mom, Nicole Kidman, to thank for inspiring her artistic pursuits.
While speaking to Elle Australia for the magazine’s March cover story, the model, 17, revealed that getting to visit photoshoot sets with her mom as a child inspired her to dip her toes in the modeling world and film industry.
“I definitely gained a lot of interest from those experiences and especially being privileged enough to experience them at a young age,” Sunday explained. “My mum is someone who has always been so creative and my biggest inspiration in life. She’s a key part of everything I do.”
Since she has grown up in the spotlight, Sunday also told the outlet that being in school has been a “really helpful” tool in staying grounded and navigating online attention.

“The privilege of having these experiences and meeting so many new people is so amazing, but as a teenager it’s so easy to get sucked in to all of it so fast,” she said. “So being able to come back [to Nashville] and keep that perspective of being back at high school keeps me grounded.”
The teenager, who made her runway debut as part of Miu Miu’s spring/summer 2025 Paris Fashion Week show in October 2024, further proved that she values maintaining a sense of normalcy by sharing that she posed for her magazine cover just hours before heading to her school’s winter formal.
As she prepares to turn 18 in July, however, Sunday also shared her hopes of going to college to follow in her mom’s footsteps and study filmmaking.

“The biggest piece of industry advice mum has given to me is to always be on time,” she told the outlet. “There’s always going to be something with an early call time that you don’t want to get up for, but it’s really important to be on time because it shows that you’re prepared and grateful to be there.”

In addition to Sunday, the Babygirl actress shares daughter Faith Margaret, 15, with estranged husband Keith Urban, as well as two children — Bella, 33, and Connor, 31 — with ex Tom Cruise.
As for whether fans could expect to see Kidman’s two younger daughters on-screen with her in the near future? While speaking to PEOPLE at the Scarpetta premiere red carpet on March 3, the Oscar winner simply said, “You would have to ask them.”
"I mean, I can't answer for them,” Kidman continued. “The thing that we all know about children and when they become young women, don't answer for them. Don't tell them who they are or what they are. They're there to tell you who they are."
Even so, Kidman made it clear that she would “just love to have them with me at all times, all the time.”
"They're always like, 'Mama, mama. You can't have that,' ” she added. “But yeah, would I be interested in that? Of course. I just want them with me. They're a part of me, and they're my loves.”
