Penta left WWE Money in the Bank 2026 with the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase and a message for every champion on the roster.

Following his victory in the ladder match, the Mexican star hinted that he already has something major planned. However, he isn’t ready to reveal his next move.

Speaking during the event’s post-show, Penta suggested his championship ambitions could become reality sooner rather than later.

While he kept his plans under wraps, his words made it clear that winning the briefcase was only the beginning.

Penta teases a big surprise and warns Roman Reigns

ā€œThis is a big surprise. I have a lot of ideas in my mind right now, but for now, I am focused on what is next,ā€ Penta said. He then offered a hint about his long-term goal, adding, ā€œSomething in my soul feels, Penta will soon become a World Champion. Very soon, I have a big surprise for everyone,ā€ the Mexican star proclaimed

Penta also addressed WWE’s current champions directly, specifically mentioning Roman Reigns while explaining why his new possession makes him a threat.

ā€œI know why Roman Reigns is the best in the universe, but now I have the best key in the world. Champs, watch your back,ā€ he declared.

The briefcase gives Penta a guaranteed opportunity to challenge for a championship whenever he chooses to cash in. That leaves his potential opponents with little certainty about when he might strike — and no assurance that they’ll receive much warning.

Penta earned the contract by surviving a six-man ladder match against Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, Kevin Owens, Je’Von Evans, and CM Punk. The contest featured multiple brutal collisions and dramatic comebacks before Penta finally climbed the ladder to claim the prize.

He also acknowledged the five men he defeated, showing respect for the competition that stood between him and the contract.

Now, Penta holds the key to a potential championship reign, and his next decision could reshape WWE’s title picture. He hasn’t named a target or confirmed a cash-in date, but his warning has put the roster on notice. For the champions, the waiting game may be the hardest part.
