It's where Carrie Fisher and Dan Aykroyd met, and Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde, and Colin Jost and Scarlett Johansson, too! So why didn't Maya Rudolph make any love connections on *Saturday Night Live*?
The comedian and *Loot *star recently sat down with her old pal and *SNL *costar Amy Poehler for a career retrospective conversation for the latter's *Good Hang *podcast.
About an hour into their conversation in front of a live audience, Rudolph abruptly pivoted: "Can we talk about flirting more? I didn't get to, like, sleep with anybody at *SNL*." Poehler humorously consoled her with an, "I know, I'm sorry." Rudolph persisted: "Why didn't I flirt with people?"

The 53-year-old Florida native has been happily married to American auteur Paul Thomas Anderson for nearly 25 years. The couple has four children, Pearl, Lucille, Jack, and Minnie, named after Rudolph's famous songstress mother, Minnie Ripperton.
Her marriage is surely the reason she didn't sleep with anyone during her stint on the long-running sketch comedy program. But why didn't she at least flirt?
"I'm bad at flirting," Rudolph concluded. "I'm bad at it."
Poehler got a laugh for delivering some cold reality to her friend: "I agree, you don't read it." But she did tell Rudolph she was crazy not to take advantage of the fact that "everyone was in love with you."

The *SNL *cast during Rudolph's tenure from 2000-2007 was studded with some eligible bachelors, including Jimmy Fallon, Will Forte, Andy Samberg, and Bill Hader.
The comedy institution has even produced some intra-cast relationships, from Bill Murray and Gilda Radner, who dated for four years in the 1970s, and more recently, Colin Jost and Nasim Pedrad, who dated before Jost met Scarlett Johansson, whom he met through the show and eventually married
You can watch the rest of Rudolph's appearance on the *Good Hang *podcast above.
