Kim Kardashian shared a social media clip on Sunday, Jan 11 showing an accident that happened at her bestie, Allison Statter's, recent birthday celebrations

As Allison leant over the cake to blow out the candles, her long hair was set on fire, prompting her husband, Rich Statter to jump in and quickly put out the flames

“You are on fire baby!!!!!,” Kardashian captioned the clip

Kim Kardashian’s best friend, Allison Statter, was involved in a shocking incident at her recent birthday party.

Kardashian, 45, caught the scary moment her bestie Allison’s hair caught fire while blowing out cake candles at her 46th birthday party in a video shared on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Jan. 11.

Allison was seen leaning over her birthday cake as she attempted to blow out one remaining candle; the flame of the candle then caught onto strands of her hair and quickly spread upwards, causing Kardashian and other party guests to scream.

Allison’s husband, Rich Statter, quickly stepped in and grabbed his wife's flaming hair, putting out the fire with his hands. A startled Allison then looked up and straight into the camera, letting out a nervous laugh.

“Oh my god!” Kardashian responded from behind the camera.

The SKIMS founder jokingly wrote over the clip, “You are on fire baby!!!!!,” while tagging Allison.

Kardashian also posted a couple of close-up shots of the alarming incident, showing Allison's hair on fire as she blew out the candles on her cake.

Kardashian and Allison have been best friends since elementary school. Kardashian’s mom, Kris Jenner, and Allison’s mom were also besties, and the pair are often seen supporting each other at events and special occasions.

Allison is part of Kardashian’s ‘lifers’ friendship group, consisting of her longest and closest group of pals, whom she often talks about on her Hulu reality show The Kardashians.

While marking her 43rd birthday back in 2023, Kardashian paid tribute to Allison and her ‘lifers’ on the show. "I always say I hit the jackpot in the friends department," she said. "Spending my 43rd birthday with all the girls that inspire me and motivate me is just really special."

On Sunday, Jan 11, Kardashian posted a birthday tribute to Allison on Instagram while sharing several photos of the pair over the years.

“Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world @allisonstatter,” the entrepreneur wrote. “I’ve known you my whole life and couldn’t imagine going through life with any other person. I am so proud of you and everything you have accomplished! I love you so much!!!!”
