Kid Rock has ignited a fierce backlash online following a politically charged address at Donald Trump's rally in Tennessee.

The controversial musician, 55, targeted socialism, communism, and Islamic extremism while speaking to the crowd on Saturday, October 10.

Kid Rock, born Robert Ritchie, proclaimed, "I, like most of you here, oppose socialism, I oppose communism, and I oppose Islamist extremists whose end goal is to impose Sharia law on this nation!!!" The news follows Rock speaking out on Eminem's collab after fans slammed the rapper for working with a MAGA star.

His remarks immediately drew criticism on social media, with some users ridiculing the singer and challenging his concerns. One person replied, "They have zero chance of ever doing that, so this is an irrational fear."

Another vented, "Kid Rock is a shameless clown."

A third attacked his music career, posting, "I oppose your terrible 'music'."

Someone else condemned his steadfast support for Trump, stating, "But he supports a lunatic president that is helping our enemy, and is a Russian agent."

The singer's address also featured attacks on former president Joe Biden's administration, while lauding Trump's achievements since his return to the White House, reports the Irish Star.

He proceeded to question whether Islam constituted a religion or a cult, while repeatedly referencing Christianity.

Kid Rock also attacked teachers' unions, claiming they were "indoctrinating kids," and voiced opposition to wealth redistribution.

He further expressed frustration about taxpayers funding individuals he labeled as "bums" who "keep having kids."

Republican Senator Marsha Blackburn, who is campaigning to become Tennessee's next governor, also appeared on stage, making her entrance to Dolly Parton's hit 9 to 5.

Blackburn detailed her proposals to address illegal immigration, enhance public safety, lower taxes, and decrease living expenses.

She also vowed to generate improved job opportunities and stated she was committed to ensuring "Tennessee never becomes California."

Targeting Democratic rival Jerri Green, Blackburn labeled her a "radical socialist" and positioned herself as the sole conservative candidate in the contest.

Meanwhile, Kid Rock has emerged as one of Trump's most recognizable celebrity backers, regularly appearing alongside the president at public gatherings.

Earlier this year, the musician spoke about their friendship during an interview on Sky News Australia's Trump's America: 250 Years in the Making.

Speaking to host Paul Murray, Kid Rock was asked what it was like having a friend running the country.

He replied, "It's f------ awesome."

The musician also disclosed that Trump frequently takes his calls, noting that he's learned the optimal timing to reach the president for late-evening chats.

He said Trump "always picks up or he'll call and check in just to shoot the s---", adding, "He's not calling me to [ask], 'Hey, what should we do in Iran, Bob?' I don't get those calls."

Discussing their relationship, Kid Rock went on, "I enjoy the hell out of hanging out with him and talking with him and just having a front row seat to the greatest s--t show on Earth."
