On the heels of Karen Huger’s six month prison stretch and September 2025 release, there’s more legal trouble on the Real Housewives of Potomac. Dr. Wendy Osefo and her husband Eddie Osefo are currently knee deep into a shocking fraud case. Specifically, it was alleged that the couple lied about stolen items in a home burglary. They are both looking at possible prison time.

Nevertheless, Wendy still attended the Season 10 reunion of RHOP. Naturally, all eyes and Andy Cohen questions were on her and her legal troubles. In the trailer for the reunion, viewers were shocked by a clip of Karen telling Wendy to “shut the f*ck up”. But now that the episode in question has aired, fans see that the Grand Dame was actually trying to help her.

Karen Huger recently served her own prison sentence

During the Season 10, Episode 20, Karen got fed up of hearing Wendy discussing her arrest and that’s why she cussed at her.

“You’re talking too much, Wendy. I’m begging you to stop talking. I do not want you to go to jail. … I don’t believe it is helping you. Take it from the Karen you used to like, how about that? Because when you talk, they watch, OK? They hear you. And so, I would have said, ‘Respectfully, Andy, I can’t answer those questions right now,” she explained in the March 1 episode.

Wendy maintained that there wouldn’t be any legal backlash from her reunion comments.

“Karen, I receive what you’re saying, and I’m not saying what you’re saying is wrong. There’s no intimate details that I have just given that is not in the public record, even the police report.”

For the sake of herself and her family, hopefully Wendy is right.
