Dua Lipa is opening up about her “magical” wedding to Callum Turner in a new interview with Vogue Italia.
The singer shared two pieces of advice that she took as they tied the knot on May 31 in London and later on June 6 in Sicily.
Turner also spoke about their wedding for the first time earlier this month in an interview with Esquire.
Nearly three months after Dua Lipa and Callum Turner said “I do”—not once, but twice—the bride is opening up about their “magical” wedding.
In a new interview with Vogue Italia published on August 24, the singer spoke about receiving two important pieces of advice on her wedding day. “To live that day as if we were guests, too (and therefore with less anxiety and more fun, etc.) and to constantly look for each other among the people, without ever losing sight of each other,” she said.

Lipa and Turner married in an intimate courthouse wedding at Marylebone Town Hall in London on May 31 before moving the party to Villa Valguarnera in Sicily for a second ceremony on June 6. On June 20, Lipa shared photos of the event on Instagram, including her custom Chanel haute couture gown that was embellished with feathers and crystals. The low-back design featured a sweeping feathered train and a matching headpiece, according to Vogue. Chanel later confirmed that the dress had 480,000 hand-embroidered beads, trompe l’oeil jewels that took 1,155 hours to complete, and an underlining of 25,000 feathers. Along with her stunning gown, she wore custom satin pumps from Massaro.
For their courthouse ceremony, Lipa kept it fashion-forward, wearing a bespoke Schiaparelli couture skirt suit and a wide-brimmed hat by Stephen Jones. She paired the look with matching gloves and Christian Louboutin shoes. After both ceremonies, the newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Italy.
Speaking to Vogue Italia, Lipa explained how falling in love with the actor influenced the way she now approaches songwriting. “Talking about being heartbroken is a very common thing,” she said. “When I was younger, I found much more inspiration in the search and desire. And that’s because feeling broken is a very strong and loud emotion.”
“But now I want to discover what happens when you truly find love,” she continued. “I’m interested in the complexities of a relationship, its quieter aspects, the little things.”

Lipa’s comments followed Turner breaking his silence about their wedding in an interview with Esquire earlier this month, where he called his wedding to Lipa the “most beautiful day of my life.” He added that starting a family was among his priorities, telling the outlet, “Obviously, yeah. I’m 36. I’d like to have a family and raise some kids.”
Lipa has also addressed the subject, telling British Vogue last year, “I’d love to have kids one day. But it’s like the constant question of when would there ever be a good time—how it would fit in with my job and how it would work if I went on tour, and how much time out I’d have to take.”
“I think it’s just one of those things that’s going to happen when it happens,” she added.

Lipa confirmed her engagement to Turner in a British Vogue interview in July 2025, telling the outlet, “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever—it’s a really special feeling.”
Lipa turned 31 years old on August 22 and marked her first married birthday on Instagram on August 24. She shared photos of herself and Turner in the countryside, writing alongside it, “Ready for my next lap around the sun.”
“It just keeps getting better,” she added.
