Daisy Edgar-Jones is continuing her streak of romantic Sense and Sensibility press tour looks.
Her latest ensemble features a more pared-back approach, wearing a delicate nude corset top.
She paired it with classic light-wash kick-flare jeans.
For romantics everywhere, the Sense and Sensibility press tour has been quite the feast. Thanks, namely, to one Daisy Edgar-Jones (and the help of her stylist Dani Michelle), method dressing has taken on the form of dreamy lacy ensembles and corsets galore. While not all of us can exactly wear an empire waist in our line of work, the actress’s recent look proved there is indeed a way to microdose Georgian style should your heart so desire.
Spotted in New York City on October 13, Edgar-Jones offered a more casual take on the Austen-inspired frocks she’s been sporting this press tour. Instead of slipping into an ethereal vintage gown, she modernized her approach with the help of a fall wardrobe classic staple: kick-flare light-wash jeans.

Jeans or no jeans, the true star of the moment left its mark above the waist. A delicate nude corset top with a sweetheart neckline and a slight peplum detail added a dose of sweetness that’s been synonymous with Edgar-Jones’s style over the last month.
The top had a structured, curved flare that extended from the narrowest part of the waist down over the hips. It was constructed with a semi-sheer overlay and adorned with a vintage-inspired floral and vine lace pattern across the entire garment.

She kept the look balanced, wearing a pair of nude pointed-toe heels that tied into her lingerie-like top. While no jewelry was added, she styled her brunette hair down with a loose wave and her curtain bangs framing her face.
Although her recent look is a far more pared-back approach to her red-carpet moments, Edgar-Jones ensured she went out with a bang during the Los Angeles premiere.

Paying homage to her on-screen character and wardrobe, Edgar-Jones made a splash in a cream-and-purple corset set from Stella McCartney’s Spring 1999 collection for Chloé. The top featured floral detailing and a sweetheart neckline, and a semi-sheer shawl was draped over Edgar-Jones’s shoulders.
Sense and Sensibility is scheduled to be released in the United States on October 16. In addition to Edgar-Jones, it stars Esmé Creed-Miles, Caitríona Balfe, and Frank Dillane.
