Junior in H-Town? ... I can dig it.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Adam Schefter, who cited sources Saturday, the Arizona Cardinals are completing a deal to trade wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.
Harrison has been informed by the Cardinals that he'll be listed as inactive Sunday for the game against the Detroit Lions while the trade gets finalized, per Rapoport and Schefter. One franchise who has been in negotiations with Arizona is the Houston Texans. For a while now, the Texans have been in the mix for Harrison, and that's believed to still be the case, according to the reporters' sources. If a trade to Houston does happen, it would see Harrison reunited with quarterback C.J. Stroud—the two played together in college at Ohio State.
The Cardinals are seeking a second-round draft pick and more for the son of legendary Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr., per Rapoport and Schefter.

If Nick Caserio and the Texans can actually pull this off, you do it yesterday.
Giving up a second-round pick and some change for a talent like Marvin Harrison Jr. is incredibly good value. This is a top-five overall pick who has barely scratched the surface of what made him terrifying Saturdays.
Whatever broke down in the desert between Harrison and the Cardinals' offensive scheme, you don't overthink acquiring that caliber of playmaking ceiling when the price tag drops this low.
More importantly, it solves the hardest puzzle in football: chemistry. Wide receivers usually take months—sometimes entire seasons—to get on the same page with a new passer. Harrison and Stroud already share a mind-meld from their Columbus days.
On top of all that, pairing Harrison alongside Nico Collins would instantly transform Houston's passing attack from "promising" to a complete weekly nightmare for opposing defensive coordinators. Defenses wouldn't be able to bracket Collins on crucial downs without leaving an elite separator single-covered on the perimeter.
I don't see a more perfect fit for Marvin Harrison Jr.
