Roman Reigns successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight in the opening match of WWE Money in the Bank 2026.
However, the champion’s celebrations at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans quickly gave way to a confrontation that brought The Bloodline into the crossfire.
Reigns and Knight delivered a competitive 26-minute encounter, with both superstars coming close to securing the victory. Knight survived a spear and later hit one of his own, while Reigns escaped the BFT before eventually finding a way to retain his championship.
946 sends Roman Reigns a warning before Bloodline Brawl
The finish came when Reigns escaped another BFT attempt, caught Knight on the ropes, and followed two Superman Punches with a spear for the three-count. The Tribal Chief had survived the challenge, but his night was far from over.
As Reigns celebrated, Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price of 946 appeared among the crowd. Keys tapped the spot where a watch would sit on his wrist, delivering a silent warning that Reigns’ time was running out.

The message didn’t go unanswered for long. Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa appeared behind 946, setting the stage for an inevitable fight. Reigns even gestured toward the group as they realized The Bloodline had caught up with them.
The two factions soon traded blows, with the action spilling from the audience area into the concourse. Jey battled Nima, Jimmy took on Price, and Solo clashed with Keys, even using a garbage can as a weapon during the melee.
The brawl continued down a stairwell and through the arena’s front doors before reaching the outside. Just as The Bloodline appeared to have the upper hand, Jaida Parker arrived in an SUV. Keys, Nima, and Price climbed into the vehicle and escaped, leaving their rivals behind.
The confrontation has now set up another chapter in the growing rivalry. The Bloodline and 946 are scheduled to meet in a six-man tag team match on the Oct. 12 episode of WWE Raw. Reigns left Money in the Bank with his title intact, but 946 made sure the warning wasn’t forgotten.
